I'm neutral towards the styling at best. Looks like Volkswagen and Ford got together and had a baby. I wouldn't purchase one, for a variety of reasons.

If you're looking for a larger 4-dr hatch, why not consider this? Toyota quality and reliability, and available in many trim levels where you are.

I think many people are lamenting the fact that Toyota isn't creating trim levels that go from 0-60 in 5-6 sec (at least here in the U.S. anyway). 9-11 sec doesn't really bother me personally (especially when I'm getting 41 MPG), as a relaxed driver, but a lot of people on the road don't seem happy (I've noticed) unless they can literally drag-race from one red light to the next with turbocharged and/or 200+ horsepower. I guess it makes them feel potent or something.

With that said, I wouldn't mind it if the SE Yaris had about the same horsepower as the current Corolla. That would be the perfect compromise in my opinion, between power and fuel economy.

It's a yay in that fact that it ticks the boxes. Hatchback turbo plenty of room for a kid and groceries at the back.

But a nay at the fact it's a fwd sportscar.

The engineer is from BMW and I hope they make a rwd spin off of this car.

Sorry but i am going to have to say pass. A nay for me at this Corolla.

I did look at the Gt86 but the ridiculous leg room at the back is a turn off.

If they can somehow make it bigger with room for a child seat and stroller.

I would say YEAH YAH!
