Sparco Seat installed

So this seat has been my computer chair for years now. After breaking the swivel part of the base, its time to put it to some use.

Purchased sparco seat rails and brackets from MicroImage. like always, great service and advice.

It does not come with instructions but it is not that hard to figure out.. BUT, I did have to remove and install 2 times to get it right.

After Installed, Its definitly lower to the floor. I will be adding spacers later to raise it 2", maybe 3"... Jeff was nice enough to give some tips where the best place to put spacers at.

Pics, enjoy

Ohhh that looks so good! I want a Sparco so bad, but I don't want to give up my airbags. Looks really sick on your car though. Just need a matching passenger now

Thanks for the compliments.

I would like to get a passenger seat to match, will have to be a more comfortable seat though. The better half of me HATES fixed back racing seats. It will have to be a reclining type seat... but that wont be for a while though. I did this strictly for autocross. My arm gets tired from pushing on the door trying to keep my body straight

I love my Sparcos(Torinos) and I really like how low I sit now. Before I felt like I was sitting way to far up, the new low is perfect for me. I'm 6'0, but my 5'4 friend could barely see above the wheel, so it's not a perfect fit for everybody.

That looks great. We have a few tricks for lowering the articulated steering column, makes a low seat feel more "right". My problem is low seat with high steering wheel, it's not ergonomic.

Looks excellent. Lower too, I wouldn't be able to see over the wheel. lol

No more mods for a while, you're making me have to plan quicker on how to keep up with the only other modified Yaris in the city!
