Lifted Yaris Overlander

I found this guy on Facebook, and had to learn more. Yes, it's lifted, yes he uses it to travel on and off pavement. Apparently he isn't on YW.

Cool, but I have a Jeep for such adventures. I can't see doing any serious off-roading with a Yaris...

I've said it for years and it always somehow seems to fall on death ears. You don't need a big, expensive 4x4 or truck to go offroad!

Totally agree! My Suzuki Sidekick project was evidence of that.

I really dig that roof rack. If only I had a real need for one, I wouldn't feel bad about flushing down the mpg from the added drag.

He really took the all black RS trim look to the extreme, black from bumper to bumper, in and out.

So far I've been on sketchy jeep only roads with mine, without lift and some decent roadtrip cargo in the back, and haven't had a problem. Granted I wasn't able to drive as fast as he probably can :)

Very awesome! Now he needs to add a second engine in the rear with an LSD to get a bit more off-road.

Citroen Sahara

Citroen Sahara was a factory dual engine 4wd small car...circa 1950's? I'll donate a 5-speed 87 Corolla FX-16 to someone w/ a same era (same engine--4AGE) automatic MR-2 who wants to weld one up...interesting possibilities with how much of each vehicle gets used.
(Central PA would be an easy delivery.)

It's hilarious as to what people think is "offroading!" I've driven our Honda minivan through tougher obstacles than in that video!

Welcome to YW!
A build thread on what you've done and are continuing to do with the car would be awesome - I'd love some more details on your setup.

I may not be a fan of anything off-road, but it's always firstly, "to each his own", and I appreciate the work put in.

Respect, and welcome!
