I feel side skirts do a lot more for the car than a front lip. If you get just a front lip and no side skirts it looks.. kind of silly. But if you add just skirts and nothign else it still works, and fills out the middle of the car nicely.

I can go another inch on my drop, if you look at the bumper to hood lining how its not even.... well yea i almost ripped my bumper off from having the front end so low awhile back, broke almost every tab and destroyed the bottom. So I think at this height skirts and front lip will work good!

i concur about the side skirts over front lip.. I am sporting the oem front with these aftermarket sides and rear. I do plan on getting a front lip one day though.. just gotta find the right one.

Everything should be done in the kit.
Individually are not looking.
On the one lip, without a skirt looks like a bulldozer.

The problem is with side skirts is that i will have to raise my car up more cause as of now they would be on the ground..... Which i dont want to do, but to look better i might have to!

personally I gotta disagree with some of the posts.

For me I think that side skirts and no front lip or rear underbody lip, makes it look like the car has a beer gut that is dragging along the ground

also, usually side skirts aren't functional at all / or aren't functional without a matching front lip (that is increasing downforce / lowering the effective point on the bumper etc...) all of this is a way of saying that to me, just sideskirts is also ricier and more poseur'ish because they (sideskirts) aren't functional on their own (like a front lip is)

Just my 2 cents

For what its worth, if you look at most really high end cars that have optional body treatment - usually the overwhelming emphasis is on changes to the front and the rear, with maybe some afterthought towards the sideskirts.

Your car pulls off the look nicely, for me it's due to the more aggressive blacked out wheels. I don't know if it'd look as nice with the stock wheel setup tho...

If someone could tell me what rear bumper and side skirts these are, I would like to know also . I got them off a member of this forum (blacksandievitz i think)

I respect your opinion on side skirts and agree/disagree.
I agree the fact they have no performance value what so ever and just weigh you down and get in the way of speed bumps.
I disagree on the fact that they make the car look more appealing.. again thought, this is just a personal opinion. to each their own.

The reason why I went with side skirts is because my rear bumper just looked silly. I wanted a rear bumper to cover up the exhaust. I like just the tip of an exhaust showing. again, personal opinions. I build my car to my likings.

What up , yeah these were from the brand "AIT" and sold as the "diablo" kit . since then i'm pretty sure they sold the mold to Extreme demonsions in la and they are now selling the same kit under a differnt name...

Yea they are 16's... Im getting them powdercoated highlighter blue in a few weeks before they get put away for winter. I have had a lot of offers to buy them in the orange color but i cant bring myself to sell! Maybe ill let them go in the blue color. lol But then again highlighter blue with extended studs and extended gold muteki lugs will look very purttyyyy.

Your car looks already good just like that.

Adding front lip and sideskirts is nice but then again being so low will just damage and scrape your lip and sideskirts when ever you drive.

This is just my own opinion. But its your car so you can do what ever you want to make you happy is all that matters.

I actually agree with solarvitz on that one.. Your car looks hot now.. but the cost of ground effects just cant justify how often you will grind your teeth when you come across that insane parking lot slant or over the top speed bump. my side skirts are tore up on the bottom cuz of those
