Konig Feathers for Daily Driver???

Educated opinions welcome as to whether Konig Feathers can stand up to daily driving (highway commuting, city). The proposed set-up, 17X7 with 215/40/17 sneakers.

I like the idea of a lightweight (race) wheel but am concerned that they may not stand up to the day-to-day use on our frost heaved, age deteriorated, construction scarred streets.
And no, 14's, 15's or 16's are not a option for me. It's 17" somethings or stick with the stock alloys.

I have konig heliums which are very close to the feathers in weight and rim style. I have used them for past few months for daily driving. So far no issues. I was worried at first i checked them for cracks every few weeks. Especially my area when going over hard potholes and train tracks but seem to be holding up fine.

I have Konig wheels in the 15" size (12lb. wheels) and they stand up to the terrible roads here in southern California.

As long as they aren't the knock-offs, they will hold up just fine.

Just go easy over the tracks and potholes, which you should be doing anyways.

Hmm... that has me concerned. I am considering the Enkei's for my summer time rolling.
They would come off in the fall/winter as they would have sticky rubber on them and I don't wan't alloy's coming in contact with road salt and sand....
Do they crack that easily?
