Power Door Locks Not Working
I have a 2007 Yaris and power door locks with a remote. When I press the button on the remote to lock or unlock, only two locks work. The drivers side front door and the passengers side rear door. I have seen several discussions on various lock issues, but was looking for the no kidding troubleshoot and fix. It seems to me that new actuators are pretty expensive so I was hoping it was something a little more simple. Thanks.

I believe you will need two actuators, they aren’t too expensive if you have a “ you pick” junkyard nearby.
My problem is a little more tricky, Just got a 2010 yaris sedan. Power lock switch on the door worked intermittently then nothing. Locks still work fine with the remote. Here’s the kicker... swapped out both driver and passenger switches with my 2009 and nothing. So the switches are good and the actuators are functioning by remote. Am I missing something? Any help appreciated. |
