Afe Power Stage 2 Cold Air Intake Questions

Hey All,

Im pretty new here, I just wanted to ask your opinions on the AFE St.2 CAI. I want to get one this summer. Also, should I get new exhaust system? And would it be possible for u guys to give me advice on finding a mid level noise muffler? Not too loud but not to quiet like stock... Just msg if u have ideas..

Thx,
tugz-yaris

Welcome to YW!!!

I was the first to install the aFe Stage 2 intake on a Yaris nearly a year ago. I'm happy to report that it has been 12 trouble free months too. I also have the TRD stainless axleback exhaust. It's louder than stock, but not ricey sounding. Looks good too.

I got the AFE stage 2 intake about a year ago. It sounded great by itself! I then put on the TRD exhaust from TRDsparks.com, it sounds great. I get complements everywhere on how well the car sounds and how it's not cheap or fart can sounding. I recommend this combination to everyone.
