Damn , we got a killer list going !
I'm like 90% on driving up from sd ... I just to get a friend to go with me so I don't have to drive both ways lol (2hrs+ each way)

There was a suggestion, once, of The Loft, Cerritos CA. Eat outside and see the pretty cars - Sonic in Garden Grove, Anaheim area (not sure but I think it's on Orange or Lemon), San Pedro Fish Market (plenty of restaurants at Ports o'call), El Cilantro - Long Beach, on SPRING (good parking lot reasonable price, near freeway onramps, Woodruff 405 freeway), Lakewood mall Arby's (coupon in dealnews.com - buy a drink & get a Roast burger for free - good empty parking area near this location and a See's candy within walking distance for "free sample.)
