What size are the speakers in a Yaris?

Question. I own the fully loaded Yaris Sedan. What size speakers do i have?
The front, and rear? It's 4 total, though, right?

Didn't think I was going to add anything to the car, but a lot of you kats have done some really cool, and classy things to your cars without messing them up. Looks like I am following the leaders!

BTW Crutchfield.com has a custom speaker section, and the Yaris is in there.
I'm thinking of getting some Infinities, and an amp. I'll keep the stock player.

There are other posts on this forum that have indicated that the front ones are 6.5 inches, but I don't know about the rear.

The link you gave him was referring to the hatch not the sedan which he was asking about...I believe the rear speakers are 6x9's and 6.5 for the front as mentioned.

accourding to to crutchfield the front speakers are 5 1/4..

I just want to double check the speaker size before I buy the new speaker, then rip everything apart and start the install..

07 sedan
6.5 or 5.25 front speakers?

Why does Crutchfield say that only component speaker fit the front? For the Sedan that is.

Just replaced the front speakers with 4way pioneers.. what a diff. it makes. Clear seperation of sounds/voices; no more "bass blur." I'm going to be putting in the rear speakers either tonight or tommorrow.

I spoke to crutchfield about this as well. The reason for this (if i remember correctly) is the depth of the speaker. Wherever the speaker sits in the door, it is quite shallow, therefore only select speakers will fit, without much modification.

the sedan is 6x9 in the rear

not sure of the stock door size, but with toyota brackets you can fit a 6.5 in, watch the depth though, i had to shim my alpines out a bit, to clear the window (when opened)

p.s. search function is your friend...

?? i fit 8" in the rear deck of my sedan. a little cutting is required, but it's not drilling a hole outside. rust is not an issue.

my 6.5" mid-bass speaker fit in the front door very nicely. they are 2.8" depth.
