True, but I'm one who believes there will be no Yaris Hybrid and that the Prius c will fill that space instead.

Well, here's a production version of it:

http://www.autoweek.nl/autonieuws/18...a-yaris-hybrid

The front is the same as the concept and it has different taillights, but they used the rear bumper of a normal Yaris.

Not the best translation of the above link, even funny in parts ("Less liquid manure impact"); but better than nothing and some good info...

An hybrid in the b segment? Toyota believes complete a lot. The importer believes that he the Netherlands if a storm will conquer.

We drove in the Yaris Hybrid shortly after the Tokyo Motorshow, but prevented our rather an embargo to publish than today. Although we have seen him in full glory, we let us can show plates of a camouflaged version at this moment only. But belief our: he sees exact this way as the concept version. Toyota thinks that 20% of the Yaris production an hybrid will be. Our importer thinks that as well as all Yarissen who is sold at us the green drive system that based on experiences with the Auris (94% hybrids).
Yaris Hybrid show a nice bit miniaturisering of the Prius drive system, as a result of which its technique 42 barge is then that of the Prius. The engine 1,5-liter a version of 1.8 of the Prius, however five centimetres shorter has been made win space. The accumulator (with 120 warrants, 46 less than the Auris) has been cleverly got rid of under the back seat and the rest of the system chairs under the cap. Toyota the neusje van Yaris Hybrid only has had make two centimetres longer to stop it.

Less liquid manure impact

Further see you to entirely nothing that you are with an hybrid underway, at least what concerns the space. The largest petrol engine which you can buy in the Yaris is 1,3-liter, and well for 99 pk. Toyota savage releases capacity still no of the Yaris Hybrid, but it us would not astonish if the useful total of both engines on 100 pk lies, because he does not feel absolutely slower to than `gewone', earlier spicier by the immediately available cross-belt of the elektromotor.

It is beautiful that the toerental of the engine is adapted automatically now to the degree of acceleratie, which annoying liquid manure impact of CVT-transmissie are mainly done as a result.

The Yaris Hybrid can two kilometres entirely electrically drive and sprint of 0 to 100 in 12 seconds, drietiende less go smoothly than ordinary Yaris. Toyota is very positive that the Yaris Hybrid will sit largely under 85, CO2 by kilometre, as a result of which he will profit up to of our discounts for economical car. The forecast that he the bulk of Yaris-verkopen will determine, do not seem as a result, absolutely from air be seized.

You keep waiting for that hybrid Yaris to show up... In them meantime everyone else that likes it can get it with a Prius badge: http://www.autoblog.com/2012/01/10/t...uto-show-2012/

No different than the Toyota FT-86 leaks, which is really a Scion, misinformation campaigns in action.

Looking at photos of the Prius c (link), it looks like these cars will be more different than I'd given credit for. Looks like trunk space is quite a bit better, maybe even as much as a Matrix. Of course without actual dimensions it'll be hard to compare. Maybe the dimensions are available, but I haven't seen them yet.

Still, hard to see this fitting between between the new Yaris and the new Prius c.

It is the same as the 2012 Yaris body except for the sightly restyled rear bumper, the grille and the handsome nose piece. The Yaris Hybrid is what Europe gets and the re-bodied Yaris hybrid that we get is the Prius C. Same technology on the same platform. I think we get the uglier Honda Civics and the uglier Yaris/Prius C for a reason I cant figure out.
