7th roadtrip

Just a daytrip ~500 miles

Hadn't been to Sequoia/ Kings Canyon in years ... wanted to see the record snows

The General Sherman tree was inaccessible so we saw the 2nd largest tree on Earth named for General Grant

Great shots, as usual. I was up there last August for my birthday. Crazy to see the water level back up and that much snow on the ground.

Wow, that's a lot of snow! Are those posts in the root tunnels actually helping anything?

Who are the two people? I'm assuming your wife, and...?

I'm one of the sharper tools in the shed, if I say so myself, but this made me feel like a mega dumb-dumb.

I thought your father was you this whole time. Never thought it was you taking the pics.

Love your posts because you got a Yaris for the same reason I want one: road trips. Most reviewers call this a "city car", but I want the reliability and great MPG for worry-free driving out in the middle of nowhere.

exactly right

and i would never take any of my nice or leased cars out on dry lake beds or off road

eats up too much lease mileage

basically the yaris is (relatively) cheap, reliable and expendable

and the seats in the se trim are VERY comfortable
