My new Yaris D-4D (The Netherlands)

Hi fellow Yaris drivers.
I'm Christian from Breda, The Netherlands.

I already had a Toyota Yaris 1.3 vvti Linea Sol but because of the distance of my work and the high cost of petrol here in Holland i have bought a Yaris diesel.

The car is faster then the 1.3 vvti version, way better fuel economy, and much more quiet on the highway.

Here you can see pics of my new and old Yaris (the old Yaris is from my boyfriend now ):

Diesel power!

I have to buy some alloy wheels.

My boyfriends brother, grandpa and my father have Toyota Yaris also

Here is our other Yaris:

And this is the Toyota Avensis of my boyfriends father:

Here are 2 videos when my boyfriend was driving on the highway here in Holland:

Last time it used 5.6l/100 km, that's 42 mpg.
But i had a lot of city trips and i had driven 93 mph on the highway.

Previous trip it had used 5l/100km, that's 47 mpg.
At that time i've driven 80.8 mph on the highway and a few citytrips.

I always use my airco.

I've made a few video's. One of them is made today with my new cellphone.

Here are the links to the video's:

At night, acceleration in 4th gear (3/4 throttle) from 90 - 130 km/h. (Samsung U600 cellphone)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhZ1vPOrA_Q

This was made nearby my hometown Breda at a Dutch highway a few minutes after the previous video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE1a-jHSm6o

Driving in Luxemburg at april 2008.
Wet snow was falling at the time.
My boyfriend was driving a little bit too fast in a hairpin, that's why you can hear my 'oehaa' sound.. :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0kAKO641uM

A little trip from Luxembourg city to Bollendorf:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjDCupit_0Y

Starting the little diesel engine, it had echo noise because it was between two houses and a carport:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD4duoG3x1g

And a running D-4D engine:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PPuSDUvyaI

And finally i used my new cellphone Nokia N95 8 GB to film the exhaust sound from the Yaris:

@ Burningbjorn

@ Peterpoop

Yes i am; something wrong with that?

@ Stargate Yarlantis

That's correct. My boyfriend his grandfather has a Yaris too and his brother too.

My father died 3 weeks ago and he had a Yaris too.
The only good news is that my brothers girlfriend is going to get that Yaris

@ lita g

Thanks i'm proud if it.

Thanks for sharing! A great place for the GPS device is the small window on the door! It's perfect.
