I like it! If I wasn’t such a purist, I’d even think about getting one too.

Looks better than current model, but that doesn't say much. Each model generation seems to get bigger & bigger, or at least it looks that way. At least they have a hybrid option here on the RAV4, unlike the neglected iM/Auris or Yaris.

I'm not a big fan of the tablet touchscreen poking up out of the dashboard design though. Looks both distracting and obstructing. Toyota seems to be copying Mazda in several ways.

My thoughts exactly.

I don't like the restyle. I think the current RAV4 is one of only a few US Toyotas with a design that is acceptable.

After taking a look at more different pictures/videos online, I think I agree with you on the new RAV4 design. Looks marginally better from the front, but that is coming from someone who HATES the current 'overbite' front grill/bumper design. From every other angle, the new model looks worse than the current model. It is trying too hard to look futuristic & edgy, just like most new models today. The squared-off wheel-wells are just stupid looking.

^^^ And with that shot of the 2019, the car looks even worse than my first impression.

Yup, Toyota seems obsessed with "futuristic & edgy" cars. I prefer a more conservative design with flowing lines that don't appear to be fighting each other from every angle. Toyota/Lexus are now anything but conservative and classy. The bold new look of Toyota. LOL. I must be getting too old to appreciate this stuff. Yikes, I like Buicks! Now here's a good looking car:

Saw this in another forum. I can appreciate what they’re trying to do at Toyota, but I haven’t made up my mind on it.
