Light went out in my bottom AC dial on a 2009 hatch...

Fired up the car this morning and noticed the bottom dial light was out. All other lights are functioning and the defrost button in the middle is lighting correctly when pushed too. The indicator for air temperature appears to be out. Any idea how to replace that?

I swapped the speedo with a factory unit with a tach about 200,000 miles ago and recall having to disassemble the dash from the top down and unsnap a bunch of stuff... is there a way to access it from the bottom or to just pull the individual knob out that I’m missing?

I was able to pull the entire panel in like 5 minutes or less with minimal effort... didn’t have anything to pop the dial off and wasn’t able to figure out the bulb type though.

T4 bulbs. Swapped all three in mine.

iirc, you have to use a small flat head to pop off the clips holding the dials to the trim piece, and then a smaller flat head to pop off the dials themselves from the gear.

Would this require any soldering? And could I replace the bulbs with a different color or is it the plastic giving it that green color? Looking to improve the interior look in my 07 sedan

I think you should contact a master who will have enough experience and knowledge to replace the bulb. Once I tried to fix the cooling system myself, but I finally broke it in the end. I had to spend almost twice as much to buy a new part. By the way, I advise you to install LED strips with https://www.vont.com/product/smart-s...-strip-lights/ additionally. They add light to the interior and help better navigate the cabin without bright light. In addition, when driving at night, the eyes are not so tired. Otherwise, you can try to look for instructions on replacing the light bulb on YouTube, but I haven't seen such videos.
