GD, when did oil changes become so expensive?
$97 and change for Mobil1 synthetic 5W30? And getting my seats dirtied by the techs? Now I don't keep receipts or records for stuff of that kind like some old foagie of yore when cars had all around drum brakes and bias ply tires, but I don't think I ever paid that much.

It's normal price for synthetic oil change.
Regular oil change should be less than 40$ |

why not buy ur own oil at way lower price when on sale , most shops will let u bring ur own stuff and just pay them to do it also ask for them to cover ur seat well they should or the detail shop gets it after lol no charge .
Mobile 1 on sale can go for around 25$ 4.4 Litter or the 5 Litter btle plus filter 5 $ to 10$ so u can do it for half price , better yet do it urself . My average cost is 30$ per oil change with Mobile 1 ....dont forget if u bring ur own stuff ask for left over cos it will add up and u get a free change. |

I always ran around 50-70$ the oil change by myself depending on the oil I get. I used to use Mobil 1, but I never catch them on sale, so royal purple and amsoil aren't much more. So I've always had top of the line synthetic oil in my yaris.

The Toyota dealership by my house does regular oil changes for $9.95. Total comes out to $12 and some change.
It started out as a limited time promotional and the demand was so strong, that they actually just kept it as an everyday deal with no coupon needed. They use genuine Toyota filters too. I always changed my own oil before, but I can't even do it anywhere close as cheap as that on my own. They also top off all fluids as well.
