NF210 bump stop cutting?

How much of the bump stop do I cut for NFs?
I called Tanabe and they said to cut off 15-20cm. which is ALOT so I got confused.
I also read that I should cut off as much as it will be lowered. 1" drop so cut off 1" off the bump stop.
If so does anyone know the exact front drop after it has been broken in?

I read that it drops 1.1" but I wasnt sure if thats before or after broken in.

haha yeah Tanabe sent me a picture on how much of the bump stop I should use, but it looks just like that picture. so idk.

this is what he sent me. and said to use the harder part, idk what that means but i guess he wants me to feel which side is harder and not softer.

that actually looks like they cut the same amount as the DF. the tutorial says use the right side of the cut stop in the picture provided which matches the bottom of stops in the picture tanabe sent you.

Yeah I noticed that too. With using only the top your cutting off pretty much 3". while using the bottom (your cutting off 2") so idk~ haha btw I sold my GC8 also to buy my yaris. haha

can someone confirm that? just want to make sure I cut right. haha and is that 20-25mm cut from the top or bottom?

i think the bumpstop from the pic is upside down....if we base it on the pic above you need to use the bottom part...so, you're cutting off 2"(?)...

I believe you use 1. Also, there should be a mention of cutting the bump stops in the instructions. I'll go see if I can find my old bump stops and take a pic.

it's 2 that you need to use just look at the tutorial link and look at the bump stop picture. once it's pressed into the hat it just looks like he's using the "1" piece. i could be wrong i have never done this install.

crazy you had a GC8 too! i loved that car but 10 G's cash got my attention. hahaha.

^ouch! but ok ok this is how it is so far

2 people say #2
2 people say #1

does anyone know how to take off the 19mm strut bolt? I got the top one off by luck, but the bottom is so stubborn that it already broke two 19mm sockets.

Im going to buy some WD-40 and more sockets and try again in 5mins
