installed some 3000k HID's

i bought some 3000k H4 bixenon HID's a couple months ago, and the temperature was above freezing today...so i installed them

IN THE AVEO!

so far they're pretty cool at night....good illumination, though things aren't SUPER bright like the 4300k's in the yaris...

check it out:

**EDIT**2010-01-21
ok, i love these hid's

i find the colour great at night....it illuminates so much without being too bright bright like the 4300k's i have in the yaris...

a couple of night pics

turning them on....please ignore most of my rambling....and does my voice really sound like that?!

That's cool. I'd like those in my foglights. I like my headlights as close to white as possible.

ya, like i said, i just want to try it for a bit....i also have 5000k bulbs in case i hated the 3000k

i run 4300 in my yaris and like them a lot

i wouldnt run up to 6000 or higher, i don't like the blue look, personally, or the lack of illumination the blue colour brings...

How are Sylvania Silverstars?
Do they look whiter, or too blue?

3000k aremuch more efficient in rain, snow storm, smog etc.

You are allowed to run with yellow bulbs in headlights? Here, in Quebec, we have to use white color only in our headlights (we can run with 6000K or 8000K without problems...pretty rare police stops you for that)....(yellow is authorize in fogs, but not in headlights).
