nice, what about the voltage. How did you drop it so it doesn't pop the LED, and what about polarity? Is this a kit. LEDs dont usually take 12v...

I think in NJ (maybe) you get busted for that. A friend got busted for his bike with neons on the valve caps.

That looks amazing! I think I'm going to go do this today! I saw it on my neighbor's BMW, too, but I didn't even think to do it myself! :D

I have mine hooked up to the dome wire, so it fades in and out when the doors open and close. It looks pretty pimp! Lol. You can find that wire behind the pull out cubbie on the driver's side. It's the 7-pin plug on the upper left. Connect the + lead to the blue wire and the - to the pink. ^_^

If it's not on while you are driving, then I would think it is okay to do.
Nice idea!

Great DIY and definitely great mod. This looks like it requires a TON of work though. That's good for you since the mod will be unique but bad for us!

Looks like i have another mod for my list. Gona attempt this on the drivers doors first and see how it goes. I like the idea if connecting it to the dome light so it fades in and out. So when i press the unlock on my keyfob at night the handles fade in and makes it easier and safer to get in the car and when you start the car they will fade out for a cool effect.
