Rattling Sound
Does anyone know what this annoying rattle is ?

Unfortunately I haven’t a clue but it sounds pretty bad.
Have you taken it to a mechanic?

Definitely does not sound like a heat shield!

A loose heat shield does in fact rattle while driving. But your noise is much more serious than a heat shield.
You need to consult a mechanic!

OK thanks. I'm booked in for next week.
Any speculation on what it could be? It only happens when in reverse and the clutch is up. |

Mechanic said it was a rubber exhaust mount needed lubrication. Now it's fine
