What's the highest HP you've gotten out of a 1NZ-FE

The 1NZ-FE is talked down upon so much, I almost feel bad for it... I have this perverse fantasy where I win the lottery and dump nearly unlimited money into a 1NZ-FE just to see the max HP I could get out of it without significantly changing the weight of the car or the balance (Engine swaps prolly make it nose heavy and RWD conversion makes it barely qualify as a Yaris any more) I was just wondering what the max HP any one has gotten out of the stock 1.5l

To avoid confusion specs should be HP not KW and it should be at the wheel. Posting dyno runs would be awesome so no one calls bullshit

I don't really want to start a testosterone-off, but I am curious who has the best 1NZ-FE

on the Yaris itself, I think Garm's is one of the highest at 183whp, at least that we know of here. But as the 1NZ is available for quite some time on many other cars around the world, I am sure there are some insane builds... Heck the guys who are fixing up Garm's motor have a 200+whp 1st gen xB...

That xB makes 280 whp at 18 psi. Art has video of it breaking into the 12's in the 1/4 mile -- crazy! Tamago can chime in, I know he's making some power with his xA at 12 psi.

Not sure what we'll make with this next bit of work on my car - but it will be more.

imagine a built 1nz motor like garms, twin charged with a Centrifugal type supercharger, a gt35 turbo, richard holdener intake manifold with direct port nitrous injection and water/methanol injection. would that be sick or what?

turboecho2005's old 1NZ, which he sold to Parmas, put down more than 300HP at one point, I believe.

^ yeah, it will be interesting to see what numbers Parmas gets out of that motor. His work looks great so far, I am really jealous of the equal-length turbo mani

I am happy to participate to this thread when I get real results and dynos! With all the cash I spent on it, well I hope a 300Hp will be decent power although if there is room for more will get to it

Btw well done "Ctraltdefeat" to begin a nice thread like this. I suggest that when showing results ppl should include type of transmission aswell turbo model and other interesting specs.

Cheers!
