Help with wheel spacers..

i bought wheel spacers to space out my rear tires a bit, when i tried to put them on i realized that my studs were not long enough to attach the lug nuts... Where can i get longer studs! and what should i expect to pay to install them.. i dont feel comfortable taking apart my drum brakes.

From what I have read on this forum, it is not that difficult to have any competent shop to do this service for you. How big are the spacers? As for cost?

Garm might have 'em, but you definitely need to get them.
I sell the H&R's but you gotta buy the spacers, too.

Installing them requires banging the old stud out with a hammer. Inserting new stud. And zipping it back in with a impact gun.

Although not as simple as it sounds because if not done by professional you can put the stud in crooked or snap or stretch the new ones.

As KargoBoy says, the H&R's come with the correct, longer studs to go with the spacer (10mm, 15mm, etc).

I am also getting a new brand of wheel spacers in shortly that also include studs.

Not sure where to buy new studs alone, but I know you can get them. ARP makes racing studs (a LOT longer), you might try them .

Yeah, I thought you carried the ARPs...that's that I have on my Protege...they are crazy long, I need to go buy some 25mm spacers now instead of the
10's I have now.
