The cut looks uneven, is it just the camera angle?

and yeah, an exhaust cowl would be really nice.

yes, the cut is uneven.. doing it with a drimmel was not fun.. I will look into the cowl idea.. good thought.. I had to cut cuz the exhaust outlet on the bumper was too far to the right.. so i had to extend it towards the center. Another reason i didnt wanna post pics up.. crappy job,but pondering ideas

I was thinking about cutting all the way to the other end like the exhaust side (but straight of course) and adding a type of diffuser there to fill in the gap. I dont know yet.. the cowl idea sounds pretty simple and easy too..

Has been draining my money away slowly. I am thinking about just dropping this project and stick with the yaris.

I think what I would do since you got the cut kinda off center is tape offthat whole middle and remove it.It would bring up the middle of the bumper and look pretty clean. It would give it that lower on the side look like a drift car has....with a open rear to access with jack and such....would be sexy.

Take your time, goto autozone or parts store and get some pin stripe tape,it is just tape that is thin so you can make clean corners nice and round.use that to give you a guide line and then tape back from that .cut with dremel the materials to be removed, keep dremel at least 1/4" from the tape line....then take a palm sander with like 80 grit and sand away till you get to the tape line,it will take about an hour of sanding, take your time.....it will be sweet....that is the bumper I want to put on my HB as well.

thats is actually my original plan after i screwed up the first time. I need to take the bumper off cuz of the funny angles. But I agree, need to be patient.

Also been 110 degrees here with 120% humidity.. cant walk to my car without soaking wet from sweat. One of these afternoons ill tackle it.
