Are you going to make this a poll, or is it just a thread looking for input?

I really like the idea of this and think that I can talk my wife and kids into the long trip to wherever it ends up being.

St Louis, Missouri sounds pretty good, closer to my house. What's the date?

Well, it might as well be in Alaska. Too far for me. I could drive maybe 300 miles but I am leasing the car and am only allowed 12,000 miles a year.

You left out Nashville/Import Alliance as a choice, so I guess it's not being considered. Can you confirm that, please?

The location is going to be a very difficult choice to make. You can't make everyone happy. I don't mind driving, but not to the other side of the country where I would normally take a plane. I still think the meet should be in the center of the US. The majority, 57.14% of the members seem to agree that it should not be in a location that makes driving impossible for most of us. I am not being nasty, these are the facts at this point in time.

If I'm willing to drive, you guys down south better be able to put out as well! And DisneyWorld is way better. Being "considerate", Jumpman is trying to have the location as center as possible. He can add Nashville...But at the end of the day, the polls will show where most people are willing to drive. I'll take a week off from work and try to avoid summer classes~ And looks like Texas and Missouri are tied. |

really nothing anywhere near the east coast. Both Iowa and Missouri are 20 hours drive for me. We'll see where this goes, still would like to go.

Depending on the date of this huge meet, folks should consider the weather!
Now, I'm not trying to sway anyone's vote; but temps here have been in the upper 70s/low 80s this past week. And in addition to the attractions listed in the first post, we've got the Texas Hill Country starting along the northwest edge of San Antonio. There are some beautiful roads and scenery out there, and lots of places to visit! Here are a few shots of Sprocket out in the Hill Country... Cheers! M2
