What Wheel Offset and Back Spacing

Hey guys.
I believe this is my first true post..
I bought a 2009 yaris last week and I am wanting to put diff wheels on it and lower it using TRD springs.
I have noticed that the wheel offset for a yaris is best between 40-42mm or at least most common.
As for back spacing.. is there a minimum/maximum distance?

Thanks
Kel

Sorry, what do you mean by "back spacing" ? are you reffering to the distance between the back of the rim and the strut or axle?

I don't know what you mean either, but if you purchase wheels and decide to go on 15" or 16" x 7" wide, most wheels will have offset included in the specs (in your case +40mm or +42mm). Rarely does a wheel company include backspacing in their specs. If you do decide then a good minimum/maximum range for offset is between +35mm to +45mm on the safe side.
