Ok, after thinking this over some more....am I correct that the shift knob will be slightly higher than stock, and it will shorten the throw even more than using the underhood kit alone?

Any reviews? Did it shorten the side-to-side throw?

Thanks!

the shift knob should be in the exact same place it is beforehand. I am still unsure of the X-axis movement but I should be getting mine within the next few days.

I have the under hood one and am adding this one. I hope to add the photos for the writeup earlier in this thread. (I am looking forward to the pic of the "funny face")

Ok I just installed this kit on my stock 2008 3-door Canadian model. Thanks Golddeenoh for the instructions...made for a quick install. I used a mean face instead, and it worked.

It shortened the front-to-back throws noticeably. It's perfect now. I used to miss 2nd gear a lot when shifting quickly, but it's right there now. It didn't seem to shorten the side-to-side axis, and looking at the linkage, I don't see how it could. Also, the shift knob remains at stock height.

If you're looking for a short shift kit that's not too extreme, I think you should try this first before doing the underhood kit.
