replace the throttle body mounting flange (xb is 3 bolt, yaris is 4 bolt)

the angle of the intake/throttle body mount is different, so you'll want a short ram intake (vs stock or cai)

I have actually seen one on an xA this summer.....nicely made piece,spendy....but nice.

from what I could see the plate just needs cleanly cut off with like a bandsaw or chop saw for metal....and any good shop that tig welds....think outside the box....motorcycle shops.....can make a new plate out of SS sheet and drill the new holes and tig it back on...it looks very doable.

What im doing for the custom intake mani from the NOS Yaris I bought is using a Matrix TB spacer and having it welded on, then just bolting the Yaris TB up. Its basically an adapter.

Could you do me a huge favor and measure the openings and their spacing? I've got a corolla intake manifold that I'm going to modify for a 1.8L throttle body (like in this thread). The corolla openings are 35 x 52 mm and they are 87.5 mm apart.

Thanks! I did a bit more searching and found that the cylinders are 75mm dia. and 8mm apart, so the spacing should be 83mm. Just need the opening dimensions and the bolt locations and I can get a CAD model rolling.

The short runner design may produce some high-end power, but the torque will probably suffer.

The Weapon R one has longer runners but a poor plenum design.

Do you have a before dyno?

So you need the inlet size and the bolt locations?
