Yeah, there is this common misconception on car forums that you confirm a swap works and you find the price of the engine and voila! Not so much... If only!

youre better off putting in a 1zzfe if she wants auto and youre horny for an engine swap

auto 2zz's are useless....and you still have to put 91 in it....

maybe youre not familiar w/ how the 2zzge operates - - but its 180hp at 7800rpm....

Noob question here. Is the bolt pattern on the bottom end of the block the same as the 1nz? Just wondering if I could keep the same 5sp tranny I have now and drop in an upgraded clutch. If this is the case and its possible do you guys think the horsepower would eat the transmission?

Well people said you couldn't swap the turbos on my S4 for under $4500 for a complete kit, but im still well under $2000 and im going to be pushing 650hp, its just how you play things out that matter....

i'm not easy on it though.

I'm not easy on mine either I guess I would have to upgrade to the 6 speed. I wonder if the shift linkage is the same

just put the fully built 2zz with a stroker kit, then engine swap it

http://store.monkeywrenchracing.com/index.php?cPath=170

then supercharge it

http://www.trial.co.jp/trial-usa/celica/zzt231sc.htm

now thats a super yaris right there

I doubt you could fit the supercharger in there without a bump in the hood, but that stroker kit should help make the driver's big smile get even bigger

Engine swapping and that type of inventions are normal here. Some really weird and ridiculous... V8 VW bugs, 1970 Lancer with Nissan Sylvia Turbo engine, ....
the list goes on, but hey who doesn't like a small car with a few ponies
