07 yaris wont start. Please help!!

My beloved 2007 yaris hatchback with 290k wont start. Has me fooled. I bought the car new and have maintained it religiously. It does have a remote start since the day I bought it which was dealer installed. I have since removed it thinking this was the problem. When you turn the key, all lights work and gauges work. The car simply does nothing. Battery was tested and is good. Car was running with the remote start and then it shut off after its 10 minute runtime. I got into the car to start with the key and it wont do anything. I replaced the fusible link with an oem part just bc I thought this could be the problem
And it didnt do anything. Any help with further diagnosis would be great. Thanks in advance

For the remote start there is likely a "no grind" relay to prevent you from running the starter via the key with the car remote started, That relay may be bad, causing the key to not be able to crank the starter.

Remove the lower steering column cover and follow the two black wires that go into one connector pin and you will find the location where the remote starter relay is wired in line with them.

Thanks for the reply. I completely removed the keyless entry "brain". It was a viper unit installed by the dealer. Would this relay be contained in the unit? Im not seeing it.

I think I found the problem. I removed the starter and this is what I'm left with.

It appears the negative side of the solenoid was extremely corroded and broke off. Does anyone know where the other end of this wire connects to? Thank you
