2007 Door Removal
Hi All,
Came back to my car today and the rear left door is mooshed in.... THANKS SHOPPING CENTRE CARPARKS! Anyway, Now I need to fit a replacement door (hopefully can find one the right colour). My question is - how hard is it to remove a rear door on a Yaris? Do the electrical cables pass through a connector? How hard is it to rehang the door? Is there a lot to adjust or is it just a matter of bolting down? I've been able to source a few doors within a few minutes of ringing around but no luck yet on the right colour. Thanks in advance! I'll be downloading the FSM tonight from the forum but I'm at work and don't want to loose my job. HAHA |

It is not that hard to remove it and there is a connector behind the lower B pillar cover. With the existing door being damaged, it is possible that the frame is tweaked, which could make adjusting the new door tricky. There is a tiny bit of adjustment at the mounting bolts, but then the rest is done by man-handling the door to adjust the gaps all around.
