Of course Red would be nice but I'm looking for something wrecked/salvaged since I will be ripping out most of the stock stuff and will take whatever pops up for sale. This is will be a winter project and will be my next DD. I may put a Greddy SC on it, the 2zz has no lowend. But that depends on alot of things, if it will fit and the Celica owners that do have this SC have some bugs to work out yet.

Milwaukee here too, our Yaris is on its way, probably mid of September:-) Otherwise had a very bad experience with a dealer here (they sold our Yaris behind our back to somebody else), so meantime got a loaner from them, which is a good thing. Love this site!!!

Well, I'm from Ohio, and I bought my Yaris in Bowling Green, so does that count?

Oh, it's ANDREW TOYOTA, in fact, the funniest thing is that today we received a post-sale evalutation form from Toyota, listing us as the buyers/owners of the Yaris which the manager at Andrew Toyota sold to someone else behind our backs -- along with the VIN number on the evaluation form.

The salesperson was wonderful. However, behind our salesman's back the manager, Michael Opermann, sold our Yaris. The assumption we are making is that perhaps he soaked someone else for a higher price, SO BEWARE IF YOU DO BUSINESS WITH ANDREW TOYOTA.

Oh, by the way, the loaner they gave us had EXPIRED PLATES, from March 2006. It took 10 days of constant calling Andrew Toyota before we finally received the 2007 sticker.

We called the owner, Andrew, but he never even had the courtesy of returning our calls. I guess we must be completely insignificant to him and to his business.

did you fill out the evaluation form? i have heard that toyota takes them very seriously. even if it dosnt help you, it may help someone else from having the same troubles you are having.

Oh, yes, we will send the evaluation form together with our input and include the letter with the entire situation. The only thing is that we do not want to get our salesman in trouble, because he was truely wonderful. The manager was the one who messed up everything. Meantime, we're looking forward to pick up our car by the end of September

Elgin, Illinois. 30 miles W of Chicago. Maybe pick one up in the Spring. Of course got to find out what people think of it first. I tend to research ( ok over research) things before I buy. I do like the style of the Yaris (hatchback for me) and look forward to driving one. And finally hello to all!

Wow Wisconsin has the Yarii infection. My giriflriend's Yaris is in Hudson, WI. Its my adopted car for modding. I feel like kind of an imposter on these forums. I just love the damn car though.

I know, its a bummer. Its truck and SUV country, what can you say.

I'd cart my ass up to BG for a weekend and go tearing through some cornfields with ya though, if it makes you feel any better... or we could go to Mid Ohio and take them around the track.
