Splash Guard Install?
So in the process of fixing some other stuff and removing the bumper, I've ended up needing new fender splash guards.
I ordered a set of aftermarket replacements (https://www.ebay.com/itm/231999833239), all the clips and everything and I just went out to try and get them put in, but for the life of me cannot seem to get them lined up correctly. Kind of worried that I bought the wrong parts or something. Are there any photos or videos showing an install? |

Aftermarket parts fit about 90-95% which means the holes are probably not completely lined up. You might need to use a heat gun to mold the shape or widen holes to make them fit properly.

Ugh. They're low quality enough (and they also sent me two different brands so they're different material and finish) that I'm almost ready to just get OEM ones from the dealership

Last time time I looked no yards had any, but just checked LKQ and they have an 08 S model that I'm tempted to go pull all the trim off to put on my base model lol

round here finding a yaris before someone else has scalped it is neerly impossible..so much so ive widened my search to include a 4 hour drive to 3 yards...thankfully ive got a friend up there who can spot check on the fly but even still....ive given up on the S/RS stuff as its just too rare to begin with, what im hunting for now is the power windows stuff from a 5dr...... |

thats ALWAYS the case ya snooze ya lose...ive been hunting them for a couple years now..they dont pop up often, my last real hunt right now is power window stuff...being a 5dr tho means its extra tricky...as the interior changed once the US got the 5dr.....having a canadian 07 5dr has shown me alot of stuff that i had no idea about...like the better guage cluster
