Brake light on dash board won't turn off.

Hey people,
I noticed yesterday that my brake light would flicker on and off when I was driving. I drove it today, and it would not turn off. Has anyone else experienced this same problem?

No, but I will. I will also check the breaks as well. I had break work done several months ago, so I may have to take a second trip. Any other reasons that this light should come on?

It comes on when you pull the e-brake as well... But I doubt you are driving around with the e-brake on You may want to check the e-brake sensor (switch thingy), it should be under the handle somewhere, make sure it's unobstructed and clean...

Found out what the problem was. The brake fluid cap was loose, and some fluid leaked out. I just added a little, and light turned off. Thanks once again.

how often do you open the hood? next time you're under there, maybe check the engine oil level too, (i hear that should be changed every once in awhile)
