yaris 1999 drive belt problem
i have a 1999 yaris the engine is a 1sz-fe and i was wondering how to change a drive belt i have a replacement allready. the tensioner is on the alternator i have unbolted it but the belt is still tight do i have to take the bolt out that holds the alternator to the engine block or am i doing something wrong thanks XD

It's probably just a little seized at the lower mounting point. Spray it with some penetrating oil and give it a really good push.
