Just did a cross country road trip

I have always loved my yaris but after taking it on a 45 day journey across the us and seeing it do so well compared to the newer cars and vans my friends drove just makes owning this yaris all the better for me . I don't think I'll ever get rid of this car it held all my gear I slept in it and got to see a lot more of the us .car did great even at pikes peek . So now I have a hard choice to make my little yaris is retired now as a drive a bicycle to work everyday so it's time to remake it as my weekend mini camper . Think hippie vw Baja bug meets 07 3dr that's what I'll be going for this next winter

Your trip sounds great! I look forward to seeing you transform the Yaris into a hipster VW baja bug!

I drove my 2007 Yaris (fully loaded) from coast to coast without a hiccup... and it was surprisingly comfortable. Without a doubt, a great little car.

Love the view in the last pic! Please do consider claying and waxing your car before your next trip so I can verify my findings from my other thread! Thanks!

rear seat delete spare tire relocation

The resting pup looks much like my 30 lb, 14"(standard dog measure to top of shoulder, often about same as top of rump) 20 month male minpin-dachsund-terrier...including, exactly, one of his postures.
re: van conversion. It looks like a flat rug will smoothly cover the entire rear from hatch to under front seats, w/ complete rear seat delete, spare relocation, and spare's peculiar push-up stamping removed. (there's a thread here on this.)
