so my car has about 118,000 miles on it and its about time for another oil change . i've only ever ran mobil1 through it but have been considering switching to royal purple hps because i've heard amazing things about it and it really isn't that much $. first question is i only need to by 4 quarts correct? also i'm in need of transmisson fluid change so i've also looked at the royal purple max atf. that would only be 3 quarts if i'm not mistaken? i also want to know if there is a "best"oil filter out there. once again i've heard the RP one is really good. keep in mind i know this isn't a high performance car but i do run autox about once a month so i want to be running good stuff through my car.
