how much coolant

I am planning to change the coolant myself.
I am wondering how much coolant do I need for our car???

yup i believe its distilled water...and percentage may depends on your area due to weather conditions..could be antifreeze/water ..70/30-60/40 or 50/50

mechanic to me to put pure coolant on my old celica..then i found out after why its suppose to be mixed..getting your normal engine temperature faster is better on gas mileage aND pure coolant will slow that process down...but i could be wrong.
