16's on a Yaris looks best, I think. You can't go wrong with those Rotas; they're so lightweight.

I'm also curious where you got that wing.

Are these Tein Basics or Tein SS? I wouldn't put anything better than 16s on a Yaris for performance sake (just my opinion).

performance wise you should go with 14's or even 13's but I guess you mean looks wise, Basics are your only option from Tein

how do you like the spring rate ? is there still a lot of body roll ? i'm looking for a stiff ride...I don't know if the 7kg*mm front / 2 kg*mm rear springs will cut it for me.

Are the shocks valved stiff enough ? do they feel right ? are there shorter endlinks inclued with the coilovers ?

thanks to you

This should answer a lot of your questions, Also you can contact Tein they are actually very helpful. I had several questions before I purchased.

you can always go with the Megans

Well, maybe for drag racing. I don't think 13s would be too good in the corners.

I wish i could lower my front more but it would suck with all them potholes that the City doesn't fix up. Nice drop and setup by the way.

the ride is very mild for coilovers. it feels exactly like H&R coilovers on my 4000# audi. i'm all the way down on the coilovers, body roll is almost eliminated, but the ride isn't as stiff as, say, skunks on a civic. shorter end links are included.

I think for someone who wants to drive on the street out of the coilover options we have Tein Basics seem to be the wisest most practical choice.

Still don't have any clue why someone would think 16 inch wheels would "improve" performance on this car. They weigh more for one. Maybe you just prefer a larger wheel visually , that's fine.

16" Rotas weigh like 12 pounds, how can you go wrong? Larger wheels also mean less sidewall flex. I'm not sure if that equates to more performance either, but there you go.

thanks a lot for sharing these informations

it makes it much more easy for me.

I've had tein basic before on another chassis, was pleased for daily driving.

Are yaris easily prone to scrapping at this height ?

I'm a Rota supporter myself but which wheel are you looking at? I'm sure the 15 inch version weighs even less and you could run a 205/50/15 tire that will weigh quite a bit less per corner than a 205/50/16 inch tire. Also, take into consideration the rubbing issues you'll have unless you go 195/45/16 or less sidewall and roll and pull your fenders and what not. Most of the Rotas are +40 anyway so probably not a big concern with offset. You can pull it off and it will look great.

oh yeah, lesser sidewall also means harsher ride and bent rotas but you can drive carefully and replace, no big deal

just things to consider
