She's got some giddy-up now!
Special thanks to Iggy888, WeeYari and echo_hrs. Couldn't have done it without them.

Iggy took a mess of and will post them somewhere soon. Stay tuned.

thebarber, your lunch has gotten cold. I did take care of the beer for you though.

Adrian, sorry I missed your PM. We were already outside wrenching by then.

Thanks again Pete for having us all over.
Here are some photos documenting how the day progressed:

Engine cover and intake removed:

Throttle body removed:

Intake manifold removed:

Alternator removed, dipstick rotated 180 degrees (to make room for supercharger):

Support bracket and pulley for the Blitz Supercharger installed:

Alternator re-attached to new support bracket. The alternator connects to the new bracket upside down which made re-attaching its wiring fun :

The Blitz Supercharger assembled and ready to be bolted on:

MUSKOKA800 (front) and WeeYari (behind) working the Blitz Supercharger into position:

WeeYari making sure all the connections are good and tight:

echo_hrs hard at work getting the wiring harness ready to go:

Boost control switch installed and mounted:

Well, not quite. At this point it was more like wishing it was time to enjoy.

Interesting thing about this install; we actually had to test drive the car to be sure the s/c was indeed working. Didn't make the characteristic and much covetted whine when the s/c engaged. You could hear the clutch activating but that was it. We figure it must be the stock air box supressing the sound of the s/c. Definitely makes the car a sleeper. No sound to announce what it has.

Props for the teamwork folks, and thanks to Raph for the detailed pics.

damn that thing looks complicated though and involves mega $$

wee—I recall one could hardly miss that distinct whine specifically with echo’s ride.

Thanks for the excellent snaps Raph!
Actually I was until about 7 p.m. (so 10 hours total) wrapping and securing that mess of wire and re-installing the cowl / wiper components.
Goes like stink now!
I'll get some colder plugs tomorrow and need to run the blended fuel out of it so it's on pure high-test before I can really thrash it.

Bring your camera to the meet on Wed. You can do the honours.
Actually, I ran out of electrical tape but what's left to seal up is nearly invisible.
A huge length of heat-shrink tube would of made me very happy.

Installed the DCSports header today. That really brings it to life!

Note to self: start saving for new tires immediately. These Pirelli's just got sentenced to death.

Did the O2 sensor come out of the stock header peacefully? Doing Adam's, it put up a bit of a fight. Quite a fight actually.

No problem pulling the O2 sensor however those two heat shield bolts you warned me of put up a good fight. How do 10mm bolt heads erode down to 9mm in just three years??? Finally got one out but had to grind the head of the other as there was nothing for the wrench/sockets to grab. Should have just ground off both sooner and saved much time and grief.

I'm confused. By "header" are you talking about an exhaust manifold? I'm having a hard time picturing how an intake header would go onto a S/C.
