Anything is possible with enough time and money. As someone with a deficit of both I guess I have to ask why?

Yaris right hand drive dual controls driver education
Mail delivery, for one thing. How about dual controls for driver ed? My favorite mod to solve the parallax and off angle light dimming of the central instrument pod is to put the driver right in the middle of an auto-trans gen 2 Yaris...then rear seat delete w/ a passenger bucket on each side somewhat rearward of the driver.

On a serious note i'm sure it could be done. You would need a dash pulled out of a JAP/UK/AUS market Yaris and while i'm not an expert you would also need a steering rack because the steering shaft connector would be on the wrong side. Not to mention you would need to swap the clutch and brake master cylinders and lines over to the other side and relocate the accelerator and the cables for it. I'm not familiar with the LHD Yaris but i might assume that the body module which is behind the glove box on the passenger side was moved over to the wrong passenger side for LHD and would need to be moved over to the old drivers side? Also you would need to swap chairs because the passenger seat has less adjustment than the drivers seat. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Only 90 percent?
I don't know what the percentage here is, but there are a number of vehicles where you have to order a manual as a special build, and expect that it will be worth less as a trade in when you sell it. Unfortunately my wife has never learnt to drive a manual, and refuses to do so. So I'm stuck with having an automatic.

I can't understand why someone uses an automatic gearbox in such a small engine. Personally I have the 1.3L with the 101hp and a 6 speed manual. I couldn't be happier. Such a small engine does not need and auto. And especially toyota's auto is a crap (at least that's what I have read). The only gearbox I could use in such a small engine is only the DSG from VW. They have made a great job with it. Otherwise autos are for engines 2.0L and up. Here in Greece manual is the most popular choice. An auto has 2000€ at least extra. And I really can't see why. Especially in such a small car they are crap. (Of course I don't compare them with the expensive cars that their gearboxes are engineer masterpieces.) I feel you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

We apparently don't get the cvt auto that some markets have in the Yaris because people don't like not feeling gear changes....

We have the U340E 4-speed auto transmission here in the US & Canada. I think it's a great transmission, hardly crap. I used to own a VW with DSG and in all honesty I prefer the Toyota 4-speed to the VW DSG. No lie.
