I'm not mechanically inclined (I've only ever replaced spark plugs, batteries and headlight bulbs on other cars) and the bulb in the temperature control A/C knob is burned in my newly purchased 2013 5 door liftback. It's not a huge deal because at night I can just feel for the little indicator divot to see where the temp is at, but I was wondering how much would be a reasonable charge to have these bulbs replaced in the future by a professional.
I can generally follow step by step directions fine, but I'm nervous about breaking one of the plastic clips...and taking things apart and putting them back together just as they were isn't a forte of mine in general. It'd probably be best to change all three if I do end up having it done I'm guessing. Also, they're LED bulbs which are generally supposed to last longer than the life of a car, so is there a reason it burned in the first place and seems to be an issue that a number of people have in this part of the Yaris? |
