Suspension install: Spring Compressors?

Every suspension install I've ever done I've had to use spring compressors -- except my xB. The front springs just popped off, unlike most springs, they weren't under a lot of tension.

Do you need to use spring compressors for the Yaris front suspension?

I assume the rears are like the xB, where you simply unbolt the rear struts and "wiggle" the rear springs off their perches?
