I fast dry cleaned the engine today

I opened the hood the other day and I saw the engine was pretty dirty. It’s funny how much a brush and a vacuum cleaner can do in just 10 mins. I will do it more often from now on.

You did that with a brush and vacuum? I'm impressed.

That’s a torch. It was already dark outside when I did it

Yep. I used the brush to detach all the dust from the engine components and then used the vacuum to take them out. (Much thanks to chrisFX’s YouTube video for the idea)
I used soap only, to clean the engine cover

I can see a bottle on the first picture. I assume that is some sort of detergent you used to polish the plastic "VVTi" cover?

Nice work though!

Yes I used it only for the cover. It’s just a dish soap. I am not a fan of polish as they get sticky over time and they capture more dust in the end.
Thank you mate
