Question about drum brakes
How tight does the cover has to be with contact with brake shoes?
I know the star wheel alignment i can adjust it loose/tight, and this will affect the handbrake 'clicks' but i dont want rubbing which lowers my mpg and damage my brake shoes so how tight should it be? thanks |

You want them to spin freely when the pedal is not pressed and the ebrake is off.

But I want my handbrake to have max 2 clicks, is there any other way to adjust this?
If I let the drum brakes to move freely, the handbrake will be 5-6 clicks. thanks |

Yes. You can tighten the handbrake via the nut at the base of the lever to take up the slack, without making the shoes move.
