Is this part of my car?

I had just finished up rotating the tires on my '07 hatch a couple days ago and when I finished up on the driver's side I found this plastic thing laying on the ground. The weird thing is I didn't see it on the ground when I jacked the car up, only when I was finished and getting ready to clean up which causes me to wonder whether it fell out from somewhere underneath.

It's a black, hard plastic (not rubber) piece about 1-3/4" long. 3 edges have that notching, one edge is smooth. It's sort of a trapezoidal shape, although one corner is a 90. The edges seem to have a very slight concave curve to them. Both "sides" look the same.

Anyone know what the heck that is?

My jack stands are those OLD red, steel ones--probably 40 years old. There's no plastic on them. I have a newer hydraulic jack from Harbor Freight. It doesn't seem like it would be part of that, but you never know. I'll have to roll it out and look it over. It's so weird that I didn't see it in the driveway until I was all done--not even when I was working on that side. Makes me wonder if maybe I picked it up on the highway and it just laid up in the undercarriage somewhere and fell out when I let the car down. Oh well, guess I'll just put it in that storage drawer I have that's labeled "No Idea" in case it turns out to be something important. If I get enough parts in that drawer I'll eventually be able to build something that I have no idea what it is.

That looks similar to the little piece that was on my jack when I unpacked it! I think it was to keep the part where the handle screws in from banging against the jack while it's being shipped.
