noise during acceleration??

i got noise during acceleration a whirllllllllin' sound. on my old car that sounds like an overly advance timing setup.. and it need to be retarded a bit or run a higher octane fuel...unless this is normal for this vvti engine .. anyone!!!

is this the celica or a yaris?


in my yaris i can here that running up through the gears with the windows closed or driving beside a Jersey baricade with the window open.

...and the engine is way smaller.

its the yaris...

its actually the yaris..i tried to see if i can adjust timing. but it seems like its all electronic...*sigh* still sounds like the timing is too advance...i dont know..??

well unless that noise when accelerating is normal..chain belt maybe...it bothers me..

Hmm... noise during acceleration. I'm guessing it's the sound of the piston firing.

Does the Yaris have a timing belt or a timing chain? (pretty sure it's not a "chain belt" )

its actually a chain belt for this yaris!! so i figured that was the noise
