2009 Yaris S stock body kit removal??

does anyone know whats under the stock front bumper kit if you remove it? I wanted to remove the front and back bumper pieces and just wondering what is underneath. The fog lights are attached to the front bumper piece so im assuming it just doesnt come off that easy...

heres a pic so you know what the heck im talking about

I'm pretty sure that it is just an overlay over the normal 09 bumper. The bottom probably has a couple of fasteners and there are probably one or two at the back edge. The top edge probably has double sided tape. The fogs are attached to the back of the bumper, so I would think they are fine. They probably don't have the bezel though, as the lip probably goes into the bezel area, so you may need to get the bezel set.

By the way, for the seagulls, his 09 lip won't fit your 07 or 08 bumpers...

Body kit removal

I work in a body shop for a Toyota dealer. They double side tape on and with a few screws. But be may a hole or two that you will see. If you take them off can you pm the part number to me. They will be on the inside of them. No one at the dealer help me find the part number in the computer.

the lip clips in. there will be a line of holes across the top of where the lip was. not sure how many though can't remember. either way it's not pretty.

i can get a pic up of what it looks like underneath without the lip tomorrow.

BUT i'll give you my front bumper if you wanna get rid of that lip.

also there may very well also be double sided tape and screws i don't know i just know i've got a brand new 09 s bumper sitting up at my local dealership right now. been there for months cause somehow they can't acquire a lip.

Also where the side skirts would be there is at least 6-8 holes on the side you will see . Im pretty sure the back is just attached with double sided tape and screwed in from the bottom and the rear fender well , so no visable holes .
