Removing plastic piece-front of mirror?

This piece rattles with bass and want to remove and put some sticky foam behind.

I thought it was something under my dash but its this piece of plastic that vibrates.

I searched around but could not find.I just dont want to break it.

Just pull on it. It snaps in. Maybe need to get a trim tool behind it or a small screwdriver with the blade taped over and pry.

The next piece to go with bass is the bigger black plastic one to the rear of the door. Both of mine blew off on the freeway. Had to get new ones and glue them in place. Check them see if they are starting to separate before you loose them.
Big bass will eventualy work these loose, then the sun visors next. I ran 2 kicker isobaric L7-15" in the trunk it took about 3 months to blow them both off and rattle my brain. To much bass, to much weight. They sit in my living room now until I can figure out a more reasonable set up.

The issue was that the 2 plastic pillars on the back side plate broke off.

There is a clip that slide into place and that is okay.

I cut thin strips of 3M outdoor tape and lined the backside of outer edge of plate and reinstalled.Seems to be on real good and tape is not visable at all.

I will take a look at the other plates you are talking about.I dont have a big system just a 10'' infinity/ported with R500X1D.Nice tight punch but doesnt rattle the car.

This plate is not mounted firmly factory but kind of loose.I thought the noise was comming from under dash,or the dash itself and know is all good.

Pic of setup.http://i.imgur.com/6oQpuWf.jpg

Are you referring to the pillar covers between rear quarter window and drivers/passenger door?...those came loose aswell?

One hung on by a thread for a minute going down the freeway. My girlfriend rolled down the window and grabbed it. The bass was off the hook. You could hardly drive it rattled your head so bad. So the pressure was high. If imagine it will take a while if it happens on your car. Mine is a 2013 2dr white looks exactly the same as yours. Nice car. I love mine. My girlfriend has a 2012 white 2dr she loves hers.

I dont think it should be a problem but thanks for heads up!

Totally love the yaris aswell.I only like the 2007-2011 body style though.

Toyota went the same way as honda did with the civic and cut it all up.Hideous front end and the bulging out tail lights.

But thas just me and a few others opinion perhaps.
