Yaris 2013 tweeter, replaceable?

Has anyone tried to replace the tweeters?

The C pillars are held in by clips - relatively easy to pull off. I would look into if your model has side airbags though - since you don't want to deploy them. Disconnect your battery and it should be fine. We do have the specialist, CTScott, where he knows practically everything on the Yaris. I'm sure he'll see your message soon and he'll reply =].

I have replaced mine! It's easy! the airbag shouldn't deploy - I don't think you could manage to hit the sensor hard enough, so dont be scurred (but feel free to unplug the battery anyhow, it's good practice). There is however a "you cant remove this" clip on there that i broke on both sides. it doesn't seem to affect the a-pillar being able to stay clipped in though as there's three other ones I believe haha.

I've gone through two sets of tweeters. first set were smaller than the OEM ones and I had to chop them out of their normal mounts to get them to work, they broke in about a month which was totally my fault. The set I'm using now were cheap ones i got on amazon or ebay - don't remember the brand but they blow the factory ones out of the water! they're about a mm larger in diameter than OEM, but they fit in the clip and are staying in place wonderfully.
