Afe intake installed...CEL ???

the Cel came on after 10 minutes of driving and stay on ...
I went to autozone to get the obd II checked and found the P0101 maf or cvt ....erased the cel , drove home and it came on again ...grrr

any idea what is wrong with it?

Probally the MAF sensor is not sealing. Or you have a leak that is not being measured by the MAF sensor. That or you damaged or contaminated the MAF sensor when swapping it to the AFE intake.

one of the screw housing for the maf on the intake is loose ...grrrr.... do you think I can get a replacement from Garm or the manufacturer ??

did you mess up the oring on the maf?

the o ring is still allright, only one of the screw hole on the intake pipe that connect to the maf is messed up now for sure .... it wont stay on anymore ...Im pretty sure Im did not overtight it.

hopefuly Garm can help me out with this ....I only use this for a couple days, and the CEL is on since the first day installed.

I dont think the screw is anything special you can probally get one at a local hardware store that is same thread but possibly different bolt head. You probally put it in at a slight angle and cross threaded it.

it's not the bolt that messed up.... it's the screw hole on the intake pipe that came loose from the housing for the MAF sensor, so there is no way the maf sensor sit there tightly .

Garm is going to send me the replacement... that's a top notch customer service...
