Ugh, how annoying. Planning to fix it, or?

I never thought I would venture outside of certain Japanese brands, but KIA has really been upping its game each generation, and now rival/exceed their various Japanese competition. They are the new 'Honda' it would seem. Perhaps it's time to give them a try in 2020.
I have KIA sportage. It's been reliable.KIA needs to give their products character because it's another thing giving it straight line speed. But when you want to have fun around bends there's not much feedback behind the steering wheel. When you put the foot down it has slight engine lag but when you hit boost this thing goes. It wont blow you away it builds up speed linear and feels effortless. 7 year warranty is unbeatable. It's definitely not perfect but acceptable and serves it purpose for this market.Families that want a good weekend cruiser to a dependable daily. KIA has got it right with the Sportage. It's value for money. It doesn't stand out in one area but does all things, OK.

Oh, yeah give us a manual stinger hatch. LOL.KIA are getting there in a hurry though.

I worry that vehicles are becoming more of an appliance than something that invokes any excitement. 10 years from now the demand will be for something you can just hop into, say 'Alexa, take me to work', play on your phone for 30 minutes, and it will park itself once you reach your destination. Yes...I realize we have those today and they're called 'taxis', but this where I see us headed.

I will probably still be driving whatever gasoline-powered subcompact I can still buy in the $20-25k range. All this new technology will push our average vehicle prices even higher and the only people driving 'traditional' cars will be enthusiasts(like me) or people who can't afford all the technology(also like me). In the meantime, I will drive the Yaris and Echo.

Car goals 10 years from now:

DD - R32 Skyline GTS-T
Project 1 - My Z31
Project 2 - My wife's current DD, pontiac vibe base model. Want to do a built 1zz or a 2zz swap
Truck - some kind of beater early 90s nissan or mazda truck to take trash to the dump
Yaris - I'm sure I'll still have it, who knows what I'll use it for

I was reading on reviews of the Buick Enclave and it seems to be a car i would want to own soon..in the next few years of course..it has quite a price tag on it..
The Toyota Camry Hybrid is also in the list of cars i would want to own in between the decade.

With only 5 payments left on my 2017 Buick Encore lease, I'm planning to get another Encore soon. I'm 100% happy with the car.

However, I drove the new Cadillac XT4 for a week, and I thought it was an outstanding car. A Cadillac??? Yup. If GM offers a special lease programme, I'd consider getting that car.

We loved our 2013 Encore.

What kind of sweet lease deals have you found on a 2019 in your area? I haven't found any here.

I'm thinking <$4K total for a 2 year lease

In Dec., Penske (Torrance) had 24 month lease at $1500 cash, $99/month.

This week a dealer in Ontario has them for $1300 cash, $129/month.

Wow, that's nuts. I have considered leasing but I think I'd go over the mileage caps.

Yup, these are 2 year 20,000 mile leases. But, I have 2 cars, so no problem. In fact, my 2017 has just 8000 miles on it now.
